Laptops for Magic from Myth Coding Workshops
Further funding is needed to provide up to 15 laptops for young people in Brighton for this unique project in this dynamic workshop combining myth and coding to create a digital story!
AOD Actors of Dionysus will be offering full day practical workshops for 6-16 year olds in the Brighton areas of Whitehawk, Moulsecoomb and Hangleton consisting of a three hour drama workshop exploring exciting characters from ancient and local myth, followed by an afternoon workshop allowing participants to learn coding using Scratch. The project will prioritise SEND participants.
The project is the result of a successful bid to the Shared Prosperity Fund for Levelling Up from Brighton and Hove City Council, AOD Actors of Dionysus GO DIGITAL with coding experts CoderDojo Brighton and supported by the charity Raspberry Pi Foundation.
Bringing skills together with creative fun, participants will have a chance to learn about coding in a enjoyable way, connecting with others and learning about some of our mythological characters in the stories.
You can help by donating any amount to this project through the link below. All laptops will be used for future projects created by AOD Actors of Dionysus GO DIGITAL.
