Aristophanes’ Peace at Chickenshed Theatre

Our former General Manager, Lucy Ruddiman, has been working on a project called Aristophanes at Chickenshed. There will be a free performance on the 1st of November at 6pm, at Chickenshed Theatre, 290 Chase Side, London N14 4PE

‘We are thrilled to invite you to the performance of our international theatre collaboration on Peace: a timely comedy crafted by the ancient Greek playwright, Aristophanes. This free performance is the result of a collaboration between Chickenshed Theatre, Teatro delle Albe/Ravenna Teatro, UCL, the University Parma and the Bristol Institute of Greece, Rome and the Classical Tradition (IGRCT). It brings together a diverse group of people, merging students from Chickenshed’s Foundation Degree in Inclusive Performance and Young Company with BA Humanities students from universities across the UK and Italy to explore Aristophanes in performance.’
