Esme joins aod as our new volunteer!

We are delighted to welcome Esme Hobbs on board as a volunteer!

Esme will join Tamsin, Izzy and Mark in the support of the charity’s education and performance work.  Esme is passionate about all things ancient and mythical but don’t take our word for it. Hear from her yourself:

Hi, I’m Esme! I’m 20 years old and I’m studying classics at university. I first got into classics through myth, but very quickly expanded beyond that into the wider world of the subject. I love ancient drama and art, as well as the history, and in my free time I am an avid reader, artist, and baker! I’m going to be volunteering with AOD, helping out with social media and keeping everyone posted on all of the brilliant things we’re up to! I might even be helping with workshops, and anything else I can get stuck into. I’m very excited to get involved and play a small part in making the ancient world more open and accessible for people to get enthusiastic about.

We’re looking forward to our journey together and many exciting times ahead……!
