Paris Alexandros
AOD Actors of Dionysus performed Paris Alexandros (David Stuttard’s reconstructed play as part of his Trojan Trilogy) twice in 2015 in a private garden in Kingston and at Allington Castle. These were special fund-raising events including a champagne buffet and auction.
The first play in Euripides’ Trojan Trilogy of 415 BC, Paris-Alexandros tells the dramatic story of the aftermath of the Judgement of Paris, when a prince believed dead for twenty years reclaims his inheritance.
In this special production with live music David Stuttard directs his own highly-acclaimed reconstruction to bring alive for the first time in the modern age a work of genius which has lain hidden for two and a half thousand years!
