Bacchic
An icon. An orgy. A dissenter.
Bacchic was a one woman show, inspired by Euripides’ Bacchae, conceived, performed and co-written by Tamsin Shasha and directed and co-written by Jonathan Young. It was selected to be part of the international showcase, Caravan Assembly, as part of Brighton Festival in 2008 subsequent to appearing at the Gilded Balloon at Edinburgh Fringe. Prior to that it previewed at Udderbelly as part of Brighton Fringe in 2007. It was an Arts Council funded Research & Development project and toured nationally in 2008, prior to appearing at High Fest in Yerevan, Armenia.
